Breast Fat transfer/Lipo first or Tummy Tuck first?

I perform a natural breast augmentation with fat. This can be removed from any unwanted areas including the breast itself as part of my lipo-lift procedure. I perform the fat grafting in multiple planes including under the muscle to give the best, most natural enhancement. Fat grafting is a great solution for someone who wants to bring their breast size up a cup or so and use natural tissue vs an implant. However, it can also be combined with an implant or used as a secondary procedure to fill in areas that are flat or thin. It does not affect mammograms or breast feeding. It can be a little lump or hard at first but tends to soften over time.

Assuming you are in overall good health and cleared for elective surgery by your primary care doctor, these procedures can possibly be performed together.

You may be able to combine those as one procedure depending upon the extent. Otherwise, can do tummy tuck first then liposuction with fat grafting weeks to months after.An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon who performs these procedures is recommended to confirm you are a candidate as well as discuss your options and expectations.

Hi and thank you for your questions.  Assuming you are an otherwise healthy female and barring unusual circumstances, liposuction with fat transfer to the breast can be performed together with a tummy tuck a the same time.  The limiting factors are length of surgery, patient health and surgeon comfort in performing these operations together.  Best you meet with a plastic surgeon in person who can examine you and disucss your options in detail. You would need to have the liposuction done first to harvest the fat for transfer to the breast.  After fat transfer you could have the tummy tuck done.

Thanks for the question.  It is necessary to consult in-person with an experienced plastic surgeon.  That said, based on your information, it is certainly possible to do all of these procedures at the same time, and if you are a good surgical candidate that would be the favored approach.  The issue may be that not all plastic surgeons are completely comfortable with autologous fat transfers for cosmetic breast augmentation.  This procedure has some limitations and may not be best approach for all patients.  In some patients, autologous fat transfers may also result in local changes to the breast that can be difficult to distinguish from other medical conditions later in life.

receive is from an in-person consultation.  I would recommend doing both at the same time.  If you are an appropriate candidate for a tummy tuck, this can be done through a low and short incision, all
completely below the bikini line.  The
belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on the
exterior.   Your muscles can also be
plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. 
Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of
real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate
their results.  The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are
comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified
board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

You don't need to travel.  There is a Plastic Surgeon off Meridian who does numerous fat grafting procedures.  It would make sense to have those procedure done at the same time if possible but an in person consultation would be needed.  Use the Smart Beauty Guide for more information about Plastic Surgeons in your area.

Thanks for your question.  Actually, doing them together can work quite nicely.  The fat for the breasts can be harvested from the abdominal area while doing the tummy tuck.  Then this is the fat that is injected to the breasts. I do those procedures together all of the time.  It is also preferred by the patient because they have one recovery with one time under anesthesia.  Be sure to choose someone who is board certified and performs both of these procedures often, so they are comfortable doing them and have the necessary expertise.  Best of luck in your search.

Based on the information provided, there is no reason you can't do this all at once. I commonly do tummy tucks with liposuction and use the fat for transfer to the breast.
