Surgeon injected kenalog and hyaluronidase solution causing dents and skin lightening. Will this improve? (photos)

My surgeon injected kenalog and hyaluronidase solution along my alar crease line and up the side of my nose six weeks ago (2 months after surgery) , it has caused dents up the side and also (what's concerning me) across towards the bridge? The skin has also gone white / lightened in that area. How long does the steroid stay active in the tissues (e.g. could it yet get worse), will it improve? I have already contacted the surgeons office nearly two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for a response.

In order to accurately answer your question, we need to know why the injection was performed 2 months following your rhinoplasty. Kenalog is a potent anti inflammatory steroid and is often used to decrease excessive swelling. It can result in pigmentary change and soft tissue absorption. Hyaluronidase is an enzyme which dissolves hyaluronic acid soft tissue fillers and can also aid the dispersion of injectable drugs.
I recommend you undergo reevaluation by your plastic surgeon as he / she has full knowledge of what was performed and why it was performed. If you haven't received any response to your concerns after 2 weeks, I would set up an appointment for "urgent" reevaluation. If still unresponsive, consider a second opinion.
