Question

There is a very small bump where it hit and it becomes red when touched for too long or when I put ice on it. It was a bit painful to touch the first days but now its not as painful , just a little discomfort if I touch it.I cant contact my surgeon since i had surgery done overseas. I'm just worried that the bump is something more than a swelling and if its gonna be permanent. There was no sharp pain or bleeding when this happened. Redness happened when i started touching the area.

Hello. Great question. I will suggest waiting a few weeks for your incident recovery. Its not likely you affected your surgical results from 11 months ago.

It is very unlikely that you caused any irreversible damage to your nose by dropping a phone on it from a short distance.  It is probably the same amount of minor confusion that would happen to any nose if you did the same thing.  The best thing you can do is leave it alone and allow your body to heal what sounds like a very minor contusion.

Dear DarkBaby96, I would suggest that you leave it alone for a few days and see if the redness dissipates. At eleven months post surgery your nose is healed well and likely you just have a little bump from the accident that will heal fine.
