Thank you for your question,It is very important the day after your BBL to vigorously massage any area that was liposuctioned. This will prevent the lumps and bumps. I usually recommend my patients to use their hands to manually smooth out the lumps. Please speak to your surgeon if you are concerned.Regards,
I do not recommend massages, but every surgeon will have a different protocol.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Each surgeon has a slightly different post op protocol. I usually recommend patients to start massaging as soon as they can tolerate it (patients are normally sore right after surgery). Hands can be used for massaging the liposuction areas.
Hello dear!! Thanks for the question. Lymphatic massages are a very important part of the healing process and will help you a lot with the swollen, the skin and the general recovery. 10 massages are the recommended. Hope this could help and good luck :)
Thank you for a very common great question. Every surgeon has their own protocol based on experience and technique used. Need to follow your surgeons post operate instructions carefully for the result you and the surgeon have discussed. I, personally do not have my patients massage and I have done thousands of successful procedures.Make sure you have a thorough consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience in this procedure. Check her/his experience, credentials, reviews, before and after photos, and have a quality consultation. There are many surgeons including myself who do virtual consultations as well.It is preferred for your surgeon to be member of "American Society of Plastic Surgeons" and ideally member of "American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery". This means they have been evaluated by the society and recognized that the focus of their practice is high volume and quality, honest aesthetic plastic surgery and they adhere to a code of ethics. All my best,

An exam would be needed to answer your question specifically; however, the amount removed and transferred will be dependent on the surgeon. Some surgeons are much more conservative than others. You could go from 1200 cc to 1800 cc (2000 cc is about max) per buttock range, depending upon your...
When a fat transfer is done to the buttock area more fat cells will be present in the area and after the surgery if we loose or gain weight these fat cells can grow smaller or bigger.
