Thank you for your question. Fat grafting can be somewhat in-exact and unpredictable. If you are 6-12 months out from your procedure, then it is safe to presume that whatever fat remains from the grafting procedure is permanent. If you lose weight, then the grafted areas will decrease in size. If you gain weight back, these areas will increase in size like other areas. Hope this helps!
It's a good question. If you lose weight after a BBL procedure your buttocks will get smaller. However, the fat cells don't die and if you gain weight again the fat cells, and your buttocks, will increase in size. To prevent fluctuations in your results, before having breast and body contouring surgery it's best to reach your long-term stable weight prior to surgery.
Liposuction in one area depletes fat cells in that area. As a result, if a patient gains weight, the fat will be stored in other areas of the body preferentially. Liposuction in an area reduces the number of cells in that area and the propensity for gain in the future. Fat will be less likely to return to the places that have been liposuctioned. Fat cells can always increase in size with weight gain. Hence, the reason for weight maintenance.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
When a fat transfer is done to the buttock area more fat cells will be present in the area and after the surgery if we loose or gain weight these fat cells can grow smaller or bigger.

It is not normal to faint after any elective procedure. This could be a result of over aggressive liposuction which can decrease your blood count or intravascular volume. For this reason, it is recommended to limit liposuction to less than 5 liters in a single procedure.
Thank you for your pictures and questions. This is likely a tract from a pilonidal cyst. If you are concerned about this affecting your cosmetic surgery procedure, then you could have the cyst and tract excised and closed and allow that to heal before considering proceeding with any elective...
Thank you for your question. Thin patients require multiple areas of liposuction to have enough for a fat transfer. An examination would be needed to fully answer your question. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Best wishes!
