How can I fix eyes that are to round and bulbous, with lids that are too big? (photos)

I’m unsure of how to describe my problem, so I’ll include pictures, but I hate how round and downturned my eyes are. I edit them in pictures because I don’t like how they look (I’ll show you unedited pics). They look very sunken in, but at same time bulbous, it’s hard to explain. They are slightly wonky and don’t look right. They’re also too close to my eyebrows. I’ve tried using makeup but it never looks right on my eyes, because of the shape. I would appreciate it if anyone can help. Thank you

Hi Thanks for sending your photos- there is some level of asymmetry in your eyes.  Please realize that we all have "a big eye and a small eye" contributing to asymmetry.  You do have a few additional features that other surgeons have outlined for you.  I recommend a "in person" consultation with a oculoplastic surgeon or a board certified plastic surgeon with extensive eyelid experience who can help with adjusting some of the muscles in your upper eyelids.  The amount of exposed white part of your eye can be adjusted with lower eyelid surgery- also in the hands of an experienced plastic surgeon or oculoplastic surgeon.  Best Wishes!!

What is at issue is to understand what really bothers you. Getting to the bottom of that only happens in a personal assessment. Otherwise what you get is a surgeon who assumes they understands what bothers you. Your upper eyelids demonstrate bilateral, central levator aponeurosis disinsertion with compensatory eyebrow elevation. This is best addressed with bilateral anterior levator resection ptosis surgery with an anchor blepharoplasty. A personal assessment is need to evaluate your midface and relative prominence of the eyes. Hope this helps.
