My mouth, eyes and chin were treated. Is it not immediate difference in texture of skin after the erbium laser has taken of top layers of skin as I have very little sloughing going on and my skin looks the same as before its 5 days now and my wrinkles look the same as before and I still have horrible texture on my chin.

Answer: Laser I would definitely give it more time before making any quick judgments. Laser resurfacing can sometimes take up to 6 months to get it's full effect. If after 6-8 weeks, you notice absolutely no results, you may consider a repeat treatment as some patients do need multiple treatments. I would also make sure to get your treatments from a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist.

Answer: Don't see any change post erbium laser If you have really deep wrinkles, the Erbium laser is not going to change those much. An Ablative Not low setting) CO2 laser or deep Chemical peel with Croton Oil or Phenol will give a better result, but with greater downtime.
