Finally decided to get my sun spots removed. Researched for a few months before going in, and still wondered what I’d done about 3 days post-Halo. It’s been almost 2 months, glad I did it! Only issue now is the cystic-like acne. Got antibiotics and I think it’s helping. It didn’t hit until week 6 or so. Hopefully it’ll come and go and my skin will be back to normal. Updated on 4 Jan 2021: Before Halo/BBL. Then about day 3 or 4, then after probably 14 days. The anxiety during the procedure was more then I expected, but after finally seeing the results, I’m very satisfied with my results. Updated on 3 Oct 2021: 6 months later I saw a dermatologist to get some advice on how to maintain my Halo/BBL. He looked at my spot that still slightly remained and gently froze it. He was right, it’s all gone now! Seeking professional help for your skin is the best invested money ever!

She made me feel confident in her abilities with the surgeries, as well as the last step of tattooing color of the areola. I am very pleased with my results and am so happy I chose reconstruction.

Hello. You appear to have multiple wound breaking down and hence your "leaking." Does your doctor have another surgeon/doctor covering while he/she is out on vacation? I think you need to be seen by a doctor ASAP. In the meantime, make sure you keep the wounds clean (I usually tell my patient to wash the area or use wet to dry saline dressings, but different surgeons handle wounds differently) and if you develop any fevers or chills or other signs of infection that you seek medical attention right away. Good luck.
Hello. For my own patients, I recommend waiting at least 4-6 weeks before exposing the incisions to any sort of hair chemicals. If the incisions are healing well after this period, I would put a thick layer of Vaseline, Aquaphor or A&D over the incisions to serve as a barrier before coloring.
Hello. Yes, you definitely need someone with you after your surgery. You will be drowsy from anesthesia and need someone to help you get around safely. If you just lay in bed without moving around because you don't have help, you can develop blood clots. Furthermore, you will be sore and will likely need help even with little things. You will also need help with carrying luggage and such. Good luck!
Hello. Usually the itching does not last more than a few days or a week for my patients. Some people may have continued itching from a reaction to something - maybe something you are putting over the incision or even some of the suture materials themselves. I would contact your PS regarding using some sort of anti-itching cream/ointment. In the meantime, plain Vaseline might help.
I personally would not seek a revision for this; it is not very noticeable and further surgery risks more complications.
