Dr. D’Souza is a master of his craft! I can say with 100% honesty that I love my breast augmentation results. I was unhappy with a previous augmentation done by a different doctor (they were a lot bigger than I wanted) and I had them explanted. About 6 years after explantation, I was ready to get a new set of implants - this time the RIGHT ones. I wisened up from the last go around and made sure to find a surgeon who would be communicative and create a collaborative process out of this experience. I also wanted a surgeon whose gallery of work demonstrated results that I liked. This was easily Dr, D’Souza. The consultation was so informative and teamwork-oriented, and I was sold. Now I’m 3 weeks post-op and my 330 cc’s look great on me! So happy!

This was the best experience I’ve ever had with plastic surgery and actually any surgery I’ve gone through. From my consultation to after my procedure has been more than I would expect from the staff and doctor. During my recovery, especially the first week, I called and asked a ton of questions and he always picked up the phone or called me right back. I had never had this kind of service. I would refer him to everyone and would go back in a heartbeat!

After years of stuffing my breasts into an upright position in my bra and hoping my nipples were both even I decided to get a lift/reduction when we moved to the San Diego area. Dr D'Souza was 1 of 3 surgeons that I was interested in and had made appointments for a consultation. His office was able to see me within a week after calling which was a big plus to me. I no sooner had filled out some papers when the doctor walked by the reception area and said he'd be with me in a minute. That was a first. He has a calming demeanor, is easy to talk to, and extremely personable. After explaining what I wanted he examined me and was able to eyeball what discrepancies in size and shape he saw. I then asked him if he could perform a brachioplasty at the same time and he said yes. Since I'm 71 I wanted do both in one fell swoop so I could enjoy them in my golden years. I was able to secure a surgery date within 2 weeks Now 2 weeks later I'm relishing not having to pick up my breasts from my waist.

Healing is coming along fine. I started putting scar gel on at 3 weeks per Dr D'Souza's recommendation. He didn't think the scar tapes are necessary. In the last few days I hardly notice any discomfort except for the occasional "ting" to my nipples or a few of my stitches along my arm. The doctor wanted to make sure that I understood that I will have scars for my arm lift but he made sure that they wouldn't be visible unless I lifted them in a certain way.

I highly recommend Dr. DSouza at Iconic Plastic Surgery. I'd never had any cosmetic surgery before so I did a lot of research before choosing. The whole staff was welcoming and friendly, and very communicative. The doctor was very professional and took time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Part of why I went to Dr. DSouza was because I was interested in the rapid recovery procedure with minimal recovery time since I lead an active life. I was very pleased with how easy recovery was! The first week or two were uncomfortable but mild and after that it was smooth sailing. It's been almost 6 months now and I'm really pleased with my results. It has been a positive experience since day 1.

From the minute I sent out an inquiry to Dr. D'Souza's office I have been treated with such friendliness, respect, and feeling like I truly matter. Once I met the doctor I thought "wow", he is very kind, knowledgeable, and nurturing. He made sure I understood the procedures, gave me his personal number to ask anything I needed, he made me feel very comfortable and reassured me that I was in good hands. The office personnel is amazing and always greeted me by name with a big smile. I am six weeks post op I am so happy with my results it has exceeded my expectations and my experience has been terrific from start to finish. I will most definitely be back for round 2. I just want to thank Dr. D'Souza and team for being a part in my journey and just making me feel like I was safe in their hands. This has truly been a life changing moment for me and I am beyond grateful to have come across with such kind people.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. D'Souza and his entire team. I booked a consult here after seeing all the 5 star reviews on Yelp, Google, and RealSelf. The office staff reached out to me immediately after I filled out the contact form on their website. The communication is great - they text you, send email reminders, book Facetime appts if you prefer that, etc. I went in for my consultation and was sold immediately. I booked my surgery before leaving the consult and ended up cancelling the consultations I had booked with other offices. Leah and Sabrina are the 2 ladies I interacted with in the office and they are so welcoming and genuinely nice. I normally get very anxious going into doctor's offices and talking to the staff but I didn't feel that way at all at Iconic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. D'Souza took his time explaining sizing for breast implants. He showed me all kinds of photos, took measurements, and gave his recommendation. He didn't rush me at all and I appreciated that. He made me feel very comfortable and I knew he was the doctor for me! I booked my surgery for 3 weeks out even though they had sooner availability. The surgery center is nearby to his office, but I believe he works out of a few different surgery centers.

I ended up going with 385cc silicone implants and I love them already! I am only 5 days post op, and the rapid recovery system is LEGIT. I was feeling great by day 3! I am able to drive, go to work, and do light housework with no pain. My incisions are healing beautifully and quickly. Tylenol was all I needed instead of the pain medication. After surgery, Dr. D'Souza provided his cell phone number which I thought was a nice touch. I was able to contact him over the weekend with any questions or concerns. He also called my husband a few hours after I went home from surgery to check in on me.

Side notes -

- The pricing is fair and within market pricing. You really get what you pay for, so keep that in mind.

- I brought my 3 year old daughter with me to my pre-op appt and the office team was so nice to her. Just wanted to mention that because it is not always that way in doctor's offices.

- The office team as well as the surgery center followed COVID safety protocol and I felt very safe.

Overall this was such a great experience and I have already recommended this team to my friends.

I had a breast augmentation July 14, 2020. I am 5'7", 160 pounds, athletic build. I got a 380cc silicone implants using the rapid recovery surgery. I am still healing but I am so happy with my results so far! I have had minor discomfort and I was back at work after 2 days. Highly recommend this procedure

I wanted a modest increase in size and to look natural but now I feel like I should have gone bigger and with a higher profile. I am having serious boob envy. I wish I was more aware of what I wanted because I feel like I haven’t changed my breasts at all.

I was a 36B before, I nursed my child for about 2 years so I wanted to have fullness and due to my job I wanted a natural look. I loved the experience with this doctor. I got rapid recovery so I was at work 2 days later. No drains no pain, just normal healing pains. It's been about 4 months and they are soft and fluffy and no one can really tell I've had them done. I could've gone bigger and been happy but I got what I asked for. I'm very satisfied with the experience but maybe have a little boob greed.

WARNING- may be long winded review, but I feel like this review captures all aspects of why Dr. D'Souza was phenomenal and why he will have my future business.
To start I appreciated that he had a FREE consultation for the BA and he really allows you an opportunity to make your own decision if you want to choose him, regardless of your money being on the line.
During the consultation he thoroughly explained how sizing works based on your body size and shape and also discussed the best surgical choices based on current research. He also took measurements, suggested implant sizes for my body shape and allowed me to try on implant sizes so I could see what the results could look like.
Dr. D'souza also has an IMMENSELY impressive educational and training background (John Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, UC San Diego, (MORE)] and that was another deciding factor in why I chose him for my BA.
Dr. D'Souza advertises this "rapid recovery BA" and its nothing short of awesome! I had the surgery on a Friday and for the first 3 days after surgery the pain was moderate, like you exercised a bit too hard and was sore. It was more than tolerable with 1 extra strength Tylenol (which I stopped taking by Tuesday because I felt I didn't need them anymore). I think that Dr. D'Souza is a great surgeon and he is the primary reason why I've had minimal pain and such a quick recovery.
I was a B and am now a full C/small D. Love how full and perky they are and that they work well with my body shape/size. I like that I can either play them up or tone them down and I'm so excited that they're large enough to make me feel more feminine without being to too big to hinder my active lifestyle! I feel like Dr. D'Souza gave me the most for my money while still being practical.
I'll definitely be seeing him in the future when I need to have them redone.

As a physician and fellow surgeon I know how important it is to choose wisely. I could not have been more pleased with my experience and results. The facility is beautiful and clean. The office staff are professional and knowledgeable. Dr D’Souza exceeded every expectation. He sat down and patiently answered all of my questions. At the end of my consultation I had full confidence and trust in his expertise. If you are choosing between physicians and not sure who to trust, all I can say is that Dr D’Souza will be the best decision you will make.
