The pictures look like the scar is healing as expected.Scar maturation takes an average of 6 months as wellas all the surgical areas. Follow your doctor wound carerecommendations. Best wishes.
It's quite common for the scar edges to be a little bunched or elevated at this early stage of healing. Your scar will mature over the course of a year and change over that time. Give it time to go through the proper phases. You can use silicone sheets/gels once it's completely healed around 4 weeks. Consult with your plastic surgeon prior to applying any new topical ointments.
From your photos you incision appears to be healing normally at this phase of recovery. Continue to closely follow your surgeon's instructions and report any concerns. Best wishes!
Dear snaser1822,I understand you are concerned with the appearance of your scars. As your scars heal, it should flatten out and lighten. Loss of pigmentation or hyperpigmentation may also be experienced but will resolve over time. Always follow your surgeon's post operative care instructions when it comes to scar management to avoid any complications like infection and for faster healing and recovery.Daniel Barrett, MD
From the photos, I see no evidence of incision line separation or poor healing. The length and visibility of the mini TT scar will vary from person to person but is placed near the public bone. A follow-up visit to your plastic surgeon's office is the best way to obtain detailed feedback.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Hello and thank you for the question. You are only three days post op. I don't see anything alarming here. Areas of irregularity should settle over the next several weeks or so. Your surgeon is your best resource. Best,
Your scars appear to be healing normally. However, be sure your surgeon has examined you and keep all your follow up visits.
Thank you for your photos. You are only 3 days after surgery and all looks well so far. Best of luck
The wound would appear to have been closed with a subcuticular suture. This is normal practice by most surgeons. The stitch is under the skin and passes from side to side. The appearance in your photographs looks normal for early after surgery. However, a photograph alone is not sufficient to give you a medical opinion, If you are worried or think something is wrong you should contact and preferably have a consultation with your plastic surgeon.Best wishes
