I am 10 days post opt and my garment hurts really bad after leave a certain period of time. how long can I leave my garment off an a day

After 10-14 days you can switch to a contour garment which is more comfortable. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon and follow his/her recommendations. Best Wishes

Answer: Leave garment post lipo Thank you for your question. you are only 10 post op day.It is best to keep your garment on as much as possible.It is fine to remove the garment to shower, and for very short periods of time.but be sure to put it back on.

Answer: How long can you leave your garment off a day after lipo and BBL? Thank you for your question. It is okay to remove the garment for a short period. Be sure to put it right back on as it will help with the post-op bruising and swelling.

Answer: The use of compression garments There is little to no scientific research on the benefits of compression garments after liposuction. The protocols are across the spectrum on how long to use these and can range anywhere from a few days to six months. My practice is almost entirely devoted to body sculpting using liposuction and fat transfer. I put less emphasis on compression garments than most. I typically have my patients wear them for one week continuously, taking them off to shower only. During the second week, they can wear them 12 hours on and 12 hours off. After the second week, they can wear them if they find them comforting. It's always best to do what your plastic surgeon recommends.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.

Answer: How long can you leave your garment off a day after lipo? It is best to keep your garment on as much as possible for the entire period of time recommended by your PS. It is fine to remove the garment to shower, and for very short periods of time, but for the majority of the day the garment should be worn.
