I use a combiantion of 3-4 devices every time I do liposuction and typically for revision or secondary cases always using vaser. I find that vaser gives the most skin tightening, fat removal, and is the best for patients with extensive scarring. I suggest only goign to a body shaping expert who has pristine technique and a great reputation/online reviews. Best, Dr. Emer.
Why do you want to have surgery in the office? Liposuction is a surgical procedure and I believe that for the most optimal results you should have liposuction in a surgery suite with sedation at least.
Twelve years is a long time, and liposuction technology hasimproved dramatically since you’ve had it last. Different types of lipo havedifferent advantages, but without knowing your medical history or goals, it canbe difficult to say which you may be a candidate for.Having said that, I usually perform AquaShape liposuctionfor my patients. This method uses a finely-controllable water spray thatcarefully sculpts fat away, providing results that can be far more precise andeffective than traditional tumescent lipo. I recommend it to the majority of mypatients interested in liposuction.
I typically recommend the newest smart lipo laser (Smart Lipo Triplex) for my liposuction cases. It has three lasers that allow one to melt fat, decrease bruising and tighten the skin. It also makes it a little easier to break up the scar tissue from previous liposcutions.
Hello there! You can consider laser liposuction such as Smartlipo which removes fat and also tightens skin. Dr. B
For me personally, I stay away from the newest generation of equipment until they are time-proven. Liposuction has been around for many years and has been pretty much mastered. New bells and whistles add very little to the procedure. By far the most important variable is who does the procedure. I cannot emphasize this enough. There's an awful lot of bad liposuction going on out there. Much of it is done by rogue players without proper training. If you find a competent provider, then that person will have the appropriate tools to do the job right.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
Hi. I guess it all depends on how much you drain. Impersonally have never used drains on liposuction procedures and have never had a seroma. If drains are left in for long periods of time they act as a Indus of infection and must be removed. Good luck. dr PG
Lower leg liposuction should be undertaken with caution. This area is prone to excessive and prolonged swelling. Contour irregularities and limited/poor results and probably the major risks of the procedure.
I have all my patients use two products a scrub in the shower and a spray after that help with acne. For the face, light salicylic acid peels and/or clear + brilliant help get rid of breakouts fast. Best, Dr. Emer.
It is very common to have bruising and swelling for weeks to months after liposuction procedures. What is most important is that you follow your surgeons post operative instructions and continue compression. If you are concerned, lymphatic massage and Velashape or Venus Legacy treatments can...
Photograph demonstrates the issues. That physical examination it's impossible to be highly specific but it's possible retreatment with liposuction might help. If however there are deficiencies of fat then fat grafting may be indicated. If the issue is redundant skin that would require an...
Dear Classyang, Your back and side view pictures would have been very helpful. As a rule, liposuction of the hips and the lower back can define you upper butt and give you a nice 'S' curve. If your butt is flat and laterally you have depression, your best option for improvement is...
