I'm eighteen and have had lots of health issues that have left my breasts quite saggy. I'm considering a breast lift once my health is better, but people say that it's better to wait until after you've had kids/breastfed. My question is: Is it possible to have a breast lift before AND after breast feeding? Is it possible to have two breast lifts one before kids, and one after if my breasts sag again due to breast feeding and age?
Answer: Repeat breast lift Yes, breast lifts can be repeated. My preferred technique, in someone your age, is The Ultimate Breast LiftTM.The breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying muscle resulting in immediate pain relief. This technique avoids the ugly vertical scars of the traditional technique, maintains nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. After pregnancies you may or may not need a revision depending on how big your breasts grow, how much the skin stretches and how long you breast feed.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Multiple breast lifts Many patients end up needing a second breast lift procedure after breast feeding. There are some additional safety factors to consider when completing a repeat breast lift or breast reduction, but it certainly can be done safely. Attached below is a patient who had a breast reduction 20 years prior and her results after her repeat breast reduction. The first surgeon performed a wise pattern lift which did not hold up over time and then she had a vertical breast reduction/lift with much better results, in my opinion.

Answer: 2 breast lifts HI, It might be best for you to see a plastic surgeon first to discuss the most appropriate option for your breast in order to achieve the best aesthetic result for your breasts. If you have lost a lot of weight and your breast tissue is very saggy and without shape, you might need also to consider breast implants as well to restore some firmness to your breasts along with a more youthful look. Another thing to think about is that mastopexies can interfere with breastfeeding, although this is quite rare. So if your heart is set on breast feeding your children, you might want to reconsider the operation at this time, especially if you are planning on getting pregnant in the near future. The short answer to your question is that 2 breast lifts can certainly be done in a lifetime, both before and after having children. All these issues should be discussed with a good plastic surgeon in your community.

Answer: Breast Lift x 2 It is certainly possible to have two breast lifts in a lifetime. However the first breast lift was performed it must be replicated at the second surgery. The best approach is to wait until you've completed your family and then have potentially one breast lift surgery.
