Many patients end up needing a second breast lift procedure after breast feeding. There are some additional safety factors to consider when completing a repeat breast lift or breast reduction, but it certainly can be done safely. Attached below is a patient who had a breast reduction 20 years prior and her results after her repeat breast reduction. The first surgeon performed a wise pattern lift which did not hold up over time and then she had a vertical breast reduction/lift with much better results, in my opinion.

It is certainly possible to have two breast lifts in a lifetime. However the first breast lift was performed it must be replicated at the second surgery. The best approach is to wait until you've completed your family and then have potentially one breast lift surgery.

Breast procedures such as the breast lift and breast reduction certainly result in a more shapely, perky, and fuller appearance of your breasts along with raising of the nipple-areolar complex to an appropriate position.  It is typical that weight gain/loss, pregnancy, age, breast feeding, gravity, etc will continue and thus changes to the breast will ensue. So, it is not uncommon to desire a further lift after several years, which could be safely and effectively performed. Since there is an incision made around the areola along with some rearrangement of tissue of the breast, there is a risk, albeit very small, of change in sensation to the area. However, in terms of breastfeeding, studies have shown that there is no increased risk of changing your ability to do so after breast procedures. Not every woman can breastfeed...thus if you can now, your ability to do so will not change after such procedures. Best wishes!

In general, it is possible to have more than one breast lift in a lifetime. People say to wait until after you have kids and finish breastfeeding because the size will fluctuate and you will possibly have some sagging. You are 18, and have no kids. Gravity and genetics have nonetheless given you saggy breasts.. Yes you can certainly have a breast lift before child bearing, and if that improves your quality of life right now, perhaps you should give that thought some serious consideration, because there is no guarantee that you will ever have children. Your breast are untested as far as your ability to breast feed is concerned. Not every woman is successful at breast feeding regardless of whether  they have had any breast surgery or not. As far as breast feeding after a breast lift is concerned, there are very few Drs. who will  suggest or guarantee that you will be able to do so. Depending on the technique of breast lift, most women can breast feed, but it may be somewhat impaired. So yes, you can have breast lifts before and after child bearing, if necessary, but no can guarantee that you will be a successful breast feeder.
