That means the incision would go from hip to hip across the top of the pubic region. The dissection would then be taken to your belly button and then further up to your sternum and rib cage. With this release of tissue, it will allow your plastic surgeon to remove all of the skin and fat from the top of the pubic region to well above the belly button line. Even your belly button piercing will even be able to be removed. That means in your specific case, your vertical surgical back scar should completely disappear.
