Fillers such as restylane or juvederm can round off the cupid's bow easily and look so natural.
Hi and thank you for your question! The short answer is yes. We can use hyaluronic acid fillers to reshape and adjust lips in many ways. I hope it helps and good luck!
In the hands of an experienced injector with the right product, you can accomplish amazing things in terms of facial shaping and rejuvenation. But without seeing photos, there is no way to give you an idea of what could potentially be achieved for you individually.I recommend consulting with a local injector in your area to discuss options but make sure that your injector is well experienced before proceeding. I hope that helps and wish you the very best!-Gregory A Buford MD FACSBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author
Dear andreab21,I typically use Juvederm for my lip sculpting because it lasts long. There are two main focuses of lip injections, adding volume and actually sculpting the shape. Both involve injecting the filler in different areas of the lips and patterns.I would recommend finding a plastic surgeon to perform you lip injections for the best result. Most of my patients have results that last at least 6 months if done correctly.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
Yes, fillers can be used to achieve this result. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a full and symmetrical lip. Nova threads can be used to improve lift and shape. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert to go over your desired results. Best, Dr. Emer
If you think of a sculptor you know that they apply clay to make a shape that they want. In a way injecting a filler is a little like adding a bit of volume here and there to sculpt a result. You can round out, flatten or accentuate a cupid's bow on a lip, depending on where the filler is placed. Of course there are limits. Every lip is different and although you can shape to a certain degree you are building on what nature gave you. When you try to get a result too far from your anatomy the result will look unnatural.
Hi, Thanks for the question! This is one of those questions that differs case by case a lot. It needs a full exam to assess the possibility.I am sorry if I can not be more assertive in answering this question!
Thank you for your question. Yes, hyaluronic acid fillers can be used to augment and sculpt your lips. You can soften the appearance of Cupid's bow with fillers, but it will not be able to completely remove. I hope it helps.
I love to inject this area when injecting lips, as it adds dimension and definition. It does hurt a little bit, because of the nerves in area. I would go to an experienced board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Lana Long, MD
It's hard to comment on your lips without seeing a photo or evaluating you in person. That being said, it is certainly possible to improve lip shape, definition and volume with dermal fillers such as Restylane Silk, Volbella, Restylane Refyne, and Juvederm Ultra. I recommend you visit an experienced injector for a in person consultation and to come up with an appropriate treatment plan.
