I had a lift and implant replacement in July 2021. I got an infection and had to have my implants removed the end of July. The lift is unimpressive. I dont want another lift as ive lost feeling in both nipples, plus have nerve damage in my right breast. Would another lift even be safe? I don't want one but people are saying i wont be happy if i don't have one with fat transfer.
Answer: Revision surgery Dear Tough612084, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Breasts I would suggest doing the implant or fat transfer first and restore the volume you lost, then see if a lift is needed. It might not be needed. Implants will probably be more successful than the fat transfer because of the scarring from the infection.

Answer: Second breast lift Hello Tough612084. Repeating a breast lift is possible, although it has higher risks for complications related to areola and fat necrosis, wound healing, loss and/or decrease of sensation. If a repeated breast lift is considered, it is very important for a surgeon to know techniques used during prior lifts to minimize risks of complications. Using a fat graft can allow improving the depression you have shown and increase overall breast volume, but is unlikely to allow for a significant breast lift. Fat graft often needs to be done in more than one session for a proper fat graft take. I strongly encourage my patients to focus on how they feel about their bodies and try to avoid relying on what other people say. A. Answer: Would a second lift be advised against? I see no reason why you can not have redo lift with extension into the axillary area bilaterally. Fees in the $8,000 ranges.
