Can the taping around the tip after rhinoplasty operation affect the tip drop? (Photo)

Hello, I am wondering if the taping around the tip, in particular this kind of taping (wrapping under and around the tip), can affect the tip drop of the nose post op? If not, what happens to the tape that wraps around the tip when the tip drops? Does it stretch or become lose? Or does the tape lift the tip and thus prevent tip drop? I’d really know the answer to this question because I’ve been Googling frantically and I haven’t managed to find an answer to this question. Thank you inadvance!
