Youhave marked asymmetrical volume and position. I recommend a new technique called Breast Augmentation with MiniUltimate Breast LiftTM. Usingonly a circumareola incision it is possible to reshape your breast tissuecreating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and moremedial to increase your cleavage. Through the same incision, implants can be placed. Aligning the areola, breast tissue andimplant over the bony prominence of the chest wall maximizes anteriorprojection with a minimal size implant. Small round textured silicone gel implants placed retro-pectoral lookand feel more natural, are more stable, less likely to ripple or havecomplications needing revision. Implantprofile is irrelevant in the retro-pectoral position since the musclecompresses it. The implants are used tocorrect your volume asymmetry while the circumareola lift corrects yourposition asymmetry. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another. See the below link on some suggestions on finding the most qualified Plastic Surgeon for a Breast Augmentation. Always insist on a board certified plastic surgeon.
There is discrepancy of size and shape but they are not tuberous. Surgery can help to improve symmetry and shape.Find a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of breast augmentations each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
Hi and thanks for your question and your photograph. The appearances are more of asymmetry of volume and droop, rather than pure tubular breasts. Only a proper face to face consultation would clarify ths and allows options for improvement to be discussed. There is an excellent chance of achieving symmetry and balance in clothing but this would be accepting some scars.
Being embarrassed and self conscious is a common feeling for men and women with body features they feel are unusual and unattractive. If you are ready to learn about your options go an see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Similar patients are seen daily in my practice and they are reassured to learn that they are normal and that improvements are available. You have asymmetries of your breast size, shape and areolar diameter and position. I think that you do have tubular breast features but fortunately these are not severe. A variety of surgical strategies may be recommended.Dr. Mosher
Thank you for the picture.I don't believe you suffer from tuberous breast, they are a bit un even and can be corrected by placing implant in one of them and lift the other one and place a smaller implant there.Dr. Campos
I looks like you have asymetry issues not tubular breasts. The tubular breast deformity is surprisingly common andconsists of a large nipple and areola complex herniating outside a small andconstricted breast. This deformity is often corrected with breastaugmentation and various forms of periareolar surgical techniques. It is difficult to tell from your photo whetheror not this deformity is present. As an additional consideration women's breastsdo tend to fluctuate with weight changes. Each patient is different, but in general some women do notice that theirbreast do become smaller with significant weight loss.
but you do have a marked asymmetry which can be improved if you are willing to accept the risks, costs, and scarring of surgery.
I do not think that you have tuberous breast but do have significant asymmetry which would need to be addressed if it bothers you.
The posted photo in my over the internet opinion is NOT a tuberous breast. You have breast assymetry, severe. Plus right has 3rd degree ptosis.
Hi. You have clearly described what you want, so your surgeon should be able to discuss things with you. If you want more upper pole fullness then changing the profile of the implant to a higher one and increasing the size will achieve this. There are tradeoffs however, in terms of more...
Seems a bit long to have to wait for your procedure. If that is your experience, find another doctor (and many are good) who can accommodate your schedule better. The only patients in my practice who schedule a year out are those who are saving for their procedure.
Sure you can get a tattoo after a breast augmentation but you just have to ensure that your surgeon has confirmed that you are fully healed. Also it is important that you make sure all the tattoo equipment are sterile.
