I do not currently want to do a Breas lift or implants and am wondering what skin tightening treatments are most effective for lifting and tightening sagging breasts? Thank you
Answer: Breast skin tightening You may have some degree of improvement with procedures such as BodyTite but depending on the degree of ptosis, you may get sub par results. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for an evaluation. You may find that it is better to do nothing if you are not interested in a surgical breast lift. Keep in mind there are different degrees of breast lifts. You may find a minimal lift is all you need.

Answer: Skin tightening for sagging breast skin While I appreciate that Radiofrequency heating tightens skin by stimulating collagen, there is only one treatment on the market that stimulates elastin. Stimulating both collagen and elastin provides a better skin tightening effect with Profound treatment. This treatment uses a device that inserts a 10 needle 32 gauge set of needles into the skin to heat the skin to 153 degrees for three seconds. Although the final effect of the treatment takes up to 6 months to see, visible results start to be seen at 6 weeks after the procedure. It would be best to do this procedure with someone who does them often on a regular basis. The limiting portion of the procedure is the area of skin that can be numbed properly in order to be able to complete the treatment in the area needed. There are ways to do an area as large as the chest by diluting the local anesthetic enough to cover that large of an area but provide adequate anesthesia to treat the entire chest area properly in order to tighten the skin on the chest to lift the breasts. I have done several of these chest Profound treatments to tighten the skin and lift the breasts without surgery.

Answer: Skin Tightening Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin in Winnetka and Chicago. This is a great question. If you're looking for non-surgical options to address sagging breasts without opting for a breast lift or implants, there are several skin tightening treatments that may help improve the appearance of your breasts. One of the most popular non-invasive treatments is radiofrequency (RF) therapy, such as forma. This procedure uses radiofrequency energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and tightening the skin over time. It can help lift and firm the breasts, improving skin elasticity, although it typically requires multiple sessions for noticeable results. Another therapy, such as laser skin tightening with fractional CO2 laser treatments, can also be effective for tightening the skin on the breasts. It works by delivering controlled laser energy to the skin, which triggers the body’s natural healing process and boosts collagen production. While these treatments are effective for mild to moderate sagging, their results may not be as dramatic or long-lasting as surgery. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Answer: Effective Non-Surgical Treatments for Breast Skin Tightening When looking for non-surgical options to tighten and lift sagging breast skin, there are several treatments that may help improve skin firmness and elasticity: Radiofrequency (RF) Therapy: This treatment uses radiofrequency energy to heat the skin, stimulating collagen production and promoting skin tightening. It is non-invasive and can provide gradual improvements over time. Ultrasound Therapy: Treatments like Ultherapy use focused ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin by stimulating collagen production. It is FDA-approved for lifting skin on various parts of the body and can be an effective option for mild sagging. Laser Treatments: Fractional laser treatments can help improve skin texture and firmness by promoting collagen remodeling. They are also non-invasive and require minimal downtime. Microneedling: Often combined with radiofrequency, microneedling involves creating tiny punctures in the skin to stimulate collagen production and improve skin elasticity. This can help with mild sagging. Topical Treatments: While not as effective as in-office procedures, certain topical products containing ingredients like retinoids, peptides, and antioxidants can support skin health and complement other treatments. It's important to have realistic expectations and understand that non-surgical treatments may offer subtle improvements compared to surgical options. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon can help determine the most appropriate treatment plan based on your specific needs and goals.

Answer: Morpheus8 can help tighten loose skin for a more firm look. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
