One of the most popular treatments, Profound RF, treats skin laxity, one of the most common issues associated with aging. The older we get, the less collagen and elastin we produce, causing skin to sag on our face and body. Profound combines radiofrequency (RF) and microneedling, delivering RF energy at regulated temperatures to precise points under the skin to create more collagen, those fundamental building blocks that keep skin smooth and youthful. This skin rejuvenation treatment takes less than an hour and requires little recovery time. It only requires a single visit to tighten skin, add volume, and improve elasticity in the face and neck. It can also be used on the body to lift sagging skin and diminish the appearance of cellulite.

There are many types of scars and many ways to effectively treat them. In my Las Vegas practice, I often rely on lasers. When used by experienced providers, lasers deliver consistent scar removal results with a low risk of complications. Acne scars are a common concern, as 40% of people with acne have some degree of scarring. I frequently treat it with the PicoWay Resolve, a laser that works from the inside out to stimulate collagen production and smooth the skin. The laser doesn’t break the outermost layer of the skin, so there’s little downtime. It’s also safer than less advanced methods of treatment, reducing the chances of pain, burning, and even more scarring. Three treatments are generally needed for significant improvement. Other modalities that can fade scarring include microneedling with the Derma Roller along with PRP, one of the most effective ways to minimize stretch marks.
