I am scheduled for lipo on my lower stomach and under my chin next Wednsday. I am 27 years old, in good health, but I have high blood pressure for reasons my doctor cannot figure out. This has been an issue since I was 13, and I am not on blood pressure medication. They believe it is partly just because it runs in my family, combined with "white coat syndrome" ( I get extremely anxious around doctors) When booking my surgery my blood pressure wasn't taken. Will this be an issue?

Once your thyroid is under control and your levels are normal, then yes, it should be safe for you to get liposuction. Make sure that your endocrinologist signs off on the procedure and speaks with your surgeon so everyone is on the same page. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Hi,You will be ok to fly. Just drink plenty of water and stay active in the plane :)We have hundreds of clients a year that do liposuction and fly back home from Thailand, we ask them to stay minimum 10 nights in Thailand. So in other words I do not think you have anything to worry about.Dr. NJ
