You are still in the early stages of your recovery. It can take up to 6 months. For now, be patient. My guess is that the wave in your skin will resolve itself. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Thank you for your question. It is normal that at 10 weeks post surgery you may still be swollen. It is recommend you also have post op therapies to help swollen go down and also lymphatic massages. You can ask your plastic surgeon about post op therapies that can help, also make skin firmer. Best wishes.
Even at 10 weeks there may be some contour abnormalities. This is probably associated with some firmness as you press on the area that is been treated. As long as the week to week progress is positive there's nothing to worry about.
Thank you for the question. At 10 weeks postop you are still fairly early in the healing process. There is still swelling and scarring that is taking place which contributes to this "wavy appearance".This should improve over time. I typically tell my patients that they will not see their final results for approximately 6 months. I would recommend to be patient and continue in close follow-up with your plastic surgeon. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. Redness after surgery can be a result of a number of factors, from a rash to an infection. You need to follow up with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to evaluate the areas of concern in person. Best wishes.

Thank you for your question. Plastic surgeons want to keep the incision is discreet locations such as in the underwear line, bra-line, or in creases/shadows that are well concealed. An incision in the naval, allows for a well hidden scar and is a common access point for abdominal...
It really depends on the individual, being underweight according to BMI does not necessarily mean unhealthy. If you have an isolated fat deposit that your surgeon thinks can be addressed with liposuction and your overall health is good then you should be a candidate for the procedure. The only...
