Thank you for your question. It is normal that at 10 weeks post surgery you may still be swollen. It is recommend you also have post op therapies to help swollen go down and also lymphatic massages. You can ask your plastic surgeon about post op therapies that can help, also make skin firmer. Best wishes.
Even at 10 weeks there may be some contour abnormalities. This is probably associated with some firmness as you press on the area that is been treated. As long as the week to week progress is positive there's nothing to worry about.
Thank you for the question. At 10 weeks postop you are still fairly early in the healing process. There is still swelling and scarring that is taking place which contributes to this "wavy appearance".This should improve over time. I typically tell my patients that they will not see their final results for approximately 6 months. I would recommend to be patient and continue in close follow-up with your plastic surgeon.
