I love my large size but want a flat belly and big breast. I was thinking to get lipo and full tummy tuck with BBL and silicone breast implants... Do you think I am a candidate? What do you suggest?
Answer: Combining procedures Thank you for your photos and questions. It may be best to stage the procedures you are considering. It is recommended that you have a BMI under 30 when considering elective plastic surgery. This is to keep risk low in terms of complications during and after surgery. I encourage you to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to learn more.

Answer: Liposuction #bodycontouring #BBL #fatgrafting #buttockssugmentation #breastaugmentation Dear CravinThank for your questions and photos! The surgeries you mention are all possible- The key is the recovery from those procedures. Any significant weight change will affect your results - so you should be close to your Ideal body weight. As you lose weight - the skin on your tummy will become more loose. You may also lose fat on your breasts and buttocks - so a stable starting point is necessary. With Warm RegardsTrevor M Born MD

Answer: Tummy Tuck - Weight Loss First Thank you for your question and photos. I believe it is best to be within 15 pounds of your ideal body weight prior to surgery for optimal results. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in body contouring for an in-person examination. Ask to see a lot of before and after pictures of their work to understand what can be achieved. Hope this helps and good luck.

Answer: Possible candidate once you reach your ideal weight Thank you for your question. While it appears that you could benefit from all of these procedures, the first step would be to get to your ideal weight, or at least within 15 pounds of it. Most plastic surgeons recommend that you have a BMI of less than 30, as 30 and over is categorized as obese and can cause complications during surgery. My advice would be to contact a board certified plastic surgeon and schedule a consultation. They can help you create a plan and discover the next steps in your journey. Good luck!

Answer: Questions on multiple procedures Thank you for your question. According to the pictures provided, I believe you are a candidate for all of the procedures you mentioned. It may be best to not perform all of the procedures you mentioned in one surgery. For my patients following a BBL, I recommend NO sitting for 2-3 weeks. After this, we have a strict sitting protocol so that you can have the best gluteal augementaiton. As a result, the patient has to lie on their tummy or side. Consequently, this is the exact opposite of the position needed for a tummy tuck as I recommend my patient remain in a reclined position and not lie flat for 2 weeks...Also, a BBL is best performed first so that none of the potential donor fat is lost during the tummy tuck/liposuction than if the order was reversed. By doing a BBL first, you should have an even better result with the subsequent tummy tuck. You should wait 3-6 months between the procedures. I recommend my patients to have a healthy diet and approach your ideal body weight as much as possible and maintain a stable weight for 3-6 months before surgery in order to get the best results. The next step is to have a thorough consultation and exam with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss all of your options. Good luck!!
