I am 10 months post op. My original nose was bulbous and thick skinned. I have silicon implant and nose tip worked on using some of my cartilage. A few months post-op my nose looked OK with the rest of the swollen features. However, as the silicon's getting more contracted, nose bridge looks too high for my face and almost bumpy on the sides. What can be done during a revision surgery? If I want silicone removed, is it possible to use some more of my own cartilage and make a small refined nose?

Hi Taylor,
It was really bad exprince for you,
to have the look you wanted is difficult with liquids because your nose crooked with time.
You need to have a really good detailed examination revision Rhinoplasty will help you.
Kind Regards,
Thank you for your inquiry. Revision Rhinoplasty with removing the implant would be required and placement of a graft would be appropriate. I recommend you return to your surgeon to discuss options or consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon...
A revision alarplasty would be a good option. The wide nostrils are making the nose look big. The tip is also bulbous. It can appear more bulbous after the nostrils are narrowed. So make sure to discuss that with your surgeon.RegardsDr. J
