skin excess to justify an upper blepharoplasty.

Additionally, the eyelid procedure can help improve the dark circles around the eyes as well. Eyelid surgery is typically the first face surgery patients undergo. A midface lift is another great option that targets the under-eye bags and addresses upper facial aging. The midface lift usually results in dramatic reduction of lower eyelid fat bags compared to just a blepharoplasty. The treatment plan really depends on your unique anatomy, as well as your aesthetic goal. I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of eyelid lifts but also offers all the nonsurgical options such as injectables and laser treatments.
