Is my otoplasty scar healing normally? (photo)

Scars following otoplasty surgery are typically placed in the crease between your ear and your head so they should not be visible from behind. Your scars appear to be on the back of your ear's conchal cartilage. If all else is fine, sit tight for a few months longer to see how they mature. If they become invisible, you're issue will be solved. If you're not pleased with their appearance around six months postoperative, depending on your examination, it seems conceivable to consider setting your concha back further, and re-positioning your scar in the crease between your ear and head so it may be less conspicuous.Wishing you well moving forward. Seems a well done incision, correct location and good technique of suture; the scar is in maturation, red and itchi, the typcal stuff, no worries, will improve.

Please follow up with your surgeon. It is still early, however the scar can be improved with revision surgery if necessary
