I have graves but have been in remission over 10 years. Sometimes my right eye is not as bulgy but sometimes it flares up and looks more noticeable. It’s really affected my confidence and self esteem and I think I am seriously considering some kind of procedure because I don’t want to feel bad about myself anymore. Please help.

Answer: See oculoplastic surgeon for evaluation of bulging eye
Yes, the swelling in the lower eyelid and cheek areas can be seen after upper eyelid surgery. Completely normal. I encourage you to use cold compresses for up to 4 days after the surgery as this will help improve this otherwise temporary concern. Best of luck.
The appearance of wide set eyes can be more common in asians due to a naturally lower nasal bridge. If the nasal bridge is built up to the point between the eyes, the eyes appear closer together. This can be done permanently with surgery or you can have filler injections which last for 1-2 years...
False eyelashes, unless extreme, should not significantly contribute to drooping lids. Be cognizant to use medical grade skin care products and wear sunscreen daily.
