Best to see an oculoplastic specialist for evaluation and discussion of options. First, a diagnosis has to be made. Then treatment options considered. Orbital decompression is one option. Other procedures could be orbital rim implant or eyelid surgery.

What makes you think you have proptosis?  You may simply have left upper eyelid ptosis with a compensatory opening of the right side.  Rather than prescribe a procedure to address your self-diagnosis, I recommend actually seeing a real doctor to assess you and determine the basis for your facial asymmetry.  You should see a fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeon.  I see a tremendous volume of individuals from Toronto who fly out to consult and have surgery with me.  For this reason, I recommend care in choosing a surgeon.
