At eight weeks post op I encourage you to give it more time. Have you been wearing compression? Getting massage? These things may help with contour irregularities as you heal. If after six months you still have concerns you can visit with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss options for revision.

Liposuction should be viewed as a permanent irreversible operation. Collecting poorly done Liposuction is very difficult. Sometimes improvements are made with Revision Liposuction, other times with fat transfer or a combination of both.

Revision work is many times more difficult than primary Liposuction so the importance of provider selection is even greater. Without seeing pictures we can’t make an assessment. I suggest waiting six months before considering any revision to work. If your first provider was unable to get the primary procedure done correctly, and that provider most likely does not have the skills to do proper revision work. Keep your expectations low because fixing the previous liposuction is difficult and sometimes not possible.
For second opinion consultations patient should come prepared to bring with them complete sets of before and after pictures and a copy of your previous operative report. You can obtain these from your current provider by requesting your entire medical record, especially the operative report and all before and after pictures.
