My nose started to look swollen 4 weeks after the surgery... it doesn't hurt nor tender but when I touch the end of it where the implant ends it feels like there is fluid... I bumped the tip a couple of days ago... I'm thinking it's edema.., fluid accumulating... I did the nose job in Vietnam so I can't really call my surgeon... I need help I'm going to see my family physician tomorrow to get it looked at

Thank you for the question. Following surgery, your swelling will gradually subside during the first year. Be patient, keep follow up appointments, and follow your doctors instructions.
It has always seemed to me to be waaaaaaay too much surgery and risk to get what might be a small improvement. Never made sense to me.But I'm the guy who always says that if the surgeon can prove to you that he gets great results using the technique, that's what's most important.
