I’m 4.5 weeks post op bbl, but I just recently noticed a flat spot on my lower right butt cheek. I followed all of my surgeons post op instructions and didn’t sit for the first 3 weeks, and am now sitting on a boppy pillow and still sleeping on my front. Will this flat spot go away or do I need more fat injected into this area?

Answer: BBL revision Hi, The indentation may change over the next few months but somewhat unlikely. Your surgeon would not likely consider this the appropriate time to "touch it up". Pillows offer little benefit at 4.5 months. Good luck.

Answer: Contour irregularity 4 weeks after BBL Hi and welcome to our forum! After liposuction and fat transfer, the inflammation of healing causes massive swelling in the operative areas, which initially obscures the entire result. There will be lumpiness and unevenness. 60-80% of the swelling will subside by the 6th week, with the remainder dissipating over 6-12 months. At this time, one cannot discern between swelling versus true contour irregularity. It is far too early to assess the result. If the indentation persists at 6 months, a simple revision can correct the problem. 15% of cosmetic surgery procedures require a secondary touchup. Continue followup with your plastic surgeon. Best wishes.
