You have to consider not only which areas will have perhaps the best fat, but also you have to consider which donor sites will have the fewest problems afterward with the liposuction.  In general, the abdomen and thighs are preferred. Hi. You should wait at least a year to let the tissue heal and get integrated to the receptor site. It is too soon to see final results.

Typically, after a body contouring procedure, 50% of the swelling resolves after three weeks and 80% of the swelling resolves after six weeks.  The remainder of the swelling dissipates in the following three to six months.  Fat harvested from the thighs and/or arms can be used to contour the buttock.
