reddoor7.   Hard to say without photos, but fat transfer may be an option, especially if it is necessary to excise artecol bumps.  Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!

Adding fat may help to hide these lumps, but probably not long term. You would be better off having the lumps surgically excised. This actually works quite well and often the lip looks good after without any additional fill.  If you do get a hollow area, you can then fill in with filler or fat.    

I've used fat grafting to correct traumatic and congenital lip deformities with excellent results. Fat grafting is an excellent permanent choice to revise uneven or bumpy lips. The only question is whether some or all of the bumps could stay and be covered over by fat. Or if they are large enough that excision would be the better option. I've done both options. The excision option is usually best be done as a two stage procedure. Give the transplant bed, i.e. the lips, time to heal before the transplant procedure.
