I had fat transfer 4 days ago, and my face looks so disoriented and ugly! My doctor suggested that she'll add much fat because most of the fat will dissolve so she wants 25%of the fat to remain. My question is; is it normal to look weird and not like myself 4 days after surgery?
Answer: Fat transfer You should look pretty swollen after 4 days so will appear over corrected. About 50% of the fat will usually resorb but this can take a few weeks. At 4 days you should be swollen from the procedure as well. So you need to wait for some of this to all settle down.

As the swelling resolves you will begin to see the results of the procedure. The amount of fat that will remain depends on the techniques used and can range from 25-90% with about 50% being most common.
