Yes, definitely can be done but if you are looking for an augmentation the fatt that can be transferred from that area might not be enough. You should consult a Board Certified Doctor, that will help you with the process and will guide you about the areas that require some work done and will benefit you to achieve your goal
Hey there, Thank you for your question. Yes, it's possible to transfer fat from the arms to the buttocks for the BBL procedure, but I prefer to use fat from the abdomen, thighs, or flanks. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who does at least 100 of these procedures per year.
You can take fat from arms however, arms alone is unlikely to produce enough fat for a BBL procedure. Common areas include abdomen, flanks, thighs. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.
The answer is yes. However, fat obtained from the arms alone will not be sufficient to transfer. Taking fat from the arms is done in conjunction with fat from other areas to transfer the optimal amount for the best results. Good Luck, Dr. PG
Yes, you can have liposuction of the arms for a fat transfer procedure, it is common area to harvest fat from along with others...it is however an area that has to be done carefully because the skin tends to have less elasticity than other areas like the love handles or hip area. All the best of luck to you!
I can and have used fat from virtually every area for this procedure including the arms. I would search for the surgeon who you feel is most likely to give youthe best results. Look at reviews and before and after pictures on thatsurgeon's website. Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Dear naomilove,Fat can be harvested from almost any part of the bod where it is found in excess. The arms are commonly liposuctioned with a BBL, however it is unlikely that there is enough in the arms alone. There are other areas such as the love handles which have a lot more fat to transfer. I hope this helps and best wishes.
Hi, thanks for your question, I agree with my colleagues lipo could be performed from any part of your body with excess fat, and can be used for grafting it into your buttocks, what is more important is the technique used by the surgeon to maintain those fat cells in the best condition and to keep them alive the longest. Please have an in person consultation with a PS, so you can discuss thoroughly all your concerns and expectations, good luck!Respectfully,Dr. Jaime Campos-Leon
You can take fat from almost any location. The arms are a common site for harvest, but I prefer the waist and abdomen.
Thanks for your question. Never let geography limit your search for that attractive bottom you have been wishing for. We accommodate many national and international patients. Patients frequently find that despite the inconvenience of having to fly into Miami and the costs of their stay, it's...
Booking surgery for a BBL varies from office to office. I would suggest that if you are seriously interested in the procedure schedule a consultation with a Board Certified PS with extensive experience performing the BBL. You should plan ahead, especially if you are thinking of having the...
Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 7-10 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol. I also recommend not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours,...
