 When the nose is crooked and there is a dorsal hump present, a rhinoplasty is required to make the nose more symmetrical and refined, regardless of whether it grew that way congenitally, or was due to trauma. The dorsal hump is composed of both bone and cartilage which must be shaved down in order to remove it. The crooked nose is straightened  with osteotomies and cartilage grafting techniques. It does look crooked in the photo, but you really need to show the entire face to get a better appreciation of the deformity.  Best to go for a consultation to be properly evaluated.

This is a question commonly asked by patients who see changes in the appearance of their nose over time.  Depending upon your age, the nose may change as the skin thins and the cartilage loses some of its support.  An opinion from a Rhinoplasty surgeon would answer many of your questions. 

The nose is crooked because the septum is deviated. You will need to have the septum and the tip and if necessary the external bones straightened at the time of a rhinoplasty to reduce the bump. Consult with a surgeon certified by the american board of plastic surgery. 

Thank you for the question.  Its possible that as your nose matured the growth of your septal cartilage resulted in some of the asymmetries and the hump that you have described.  To correct these issues a rhinoplasty may be indicated.  Please seek several consultations with board certified plastic surgeons in your area to get an idea of the rhinoplasty process and the options that will help you achieve the result that you want.All the best,Dr. Remus Repta

photograph. A deviated nose or crooked
nose is a difficult entity to completely correct. Adjustment in the bony impairment and soft
tissue architecture including cartilage and septum is required. There is often a residual deviation after
surgery and it is important to be patient for 12 months following the procedure
to fully assess the final aesthetic effect.
A crooked nose can be corrected non-surgically using injection
rhinoplasty to create the illusion of a straighter nose. This tactic can also be deployed
post-operatively while waiting for the final post-operative results at 12
months.

You don't mention how old you are; your skin looks young. The nose will change throughout life, especially as an individual goes through puberty and matures. Your nose does look crooked or asymmetrical but it is hard to evaluate with this very limited view. More pictures and information please.
