Hello Had BA done with the scar under neath the breast. I am a month over a year post-op.. I did not use scar cream or silicone sheets... is it too late? It's not as faded as i'd like and still a bit red.

Answer: 1 year post breast augmentation. Is it too late to treat the scar? If the scar is still red then it has not yet matured and there is room for improvement. At this point Silicone sheets/strips are going to be your easiest solution. You can purchase them online and simply apply them to your incisions after your shower in the morning. Keep using them until the scars fade to white. If you are still unhappy then I'd suggest booking an appointment with your surgeon to discuss your concerns and get advice that is more specifically tailored to you. Hope that helps!

Answer: Treating Breast Augmentation Scar This is something you should discuss with your surgeon. for my patients, I like them to start using silicone sheeting once their incision is fully healed. At 4 weeks post surgery, you should be fine to start treating your incision. Good luck.
