Hello, I've been looking into getting lip injections for a while now. My lips are quite small in width, and my top lip is a lot smaller than the bottom. I was wondering if my lips would achieve similar results to the attached photo if I got 1mL of filler. Thank you!

Answer: Lip Fillers -- Juvederm Ultra/Ultra Plus/Volbella/Voluma, Restylane Silk/Lyft, Belotero, Fat Injections, Lip Lift The more filler used the more big the lip, that looks as if there are. more than one cc of filler. I would suggest starting with one, adding more after 2-4. weeks if you want bigger. use hydration and plumping products to maintain the result and give it a more filled look as well (see emeragecosmetics.com lip package).

Answer: Possibly but you might need more volume, even up to 2 ml but I strong advise you against seeking this look. First, appreciate that the after picture you are showing is actually zoomed in compared to the before picture. The upper lip is actually over filled. The effect is the stamped on lip look or the wax lip look. If you think this looks good, you would be wrong. It is terribly unnatural. The lower lip should always be stronger than the upper lip. Also it is critical that you get the right filler. You need a relatively high G prime filler to how this volume in the lip. Lower G prime fillers are much less likely to form lumps and bumps but those products are not just "smooth," they are also runny. That means you end up with a lip shelf-not good. Restylane is the lip product I work with. Virtually all of the other products are too runny-all of the Juvederm, Belotero, Restylane kysse, Restylane Silk, etc.
