Hello, I've been looking into getting lip injections for a while now. My lips are quite small in width, and my top lip is a lot smaller than the bottom. I was wondering if my lips would achieve similar results to the attached photo if I got 1mL of filler. Thank you!
Answer: Lip filler Hello and thanks for your question. From the photo of your lips and this after example it looks like you may need more than 1ml over several treatments to achieve this look. In most cases 1ml is a really good amount to achieve great lips so would be a good starting point top see what you think. Always seek a qualified and experienced practitioner, best wishes

Answer: How much filler? You should be able to have a nice enhancement with 1ml of filler. The lips will swell after injection so it is best to wait 2 weeks after treatment to determine your result. The great thing about fillers is that you can go slowly and build up to the look that you want. Be sure to see an expert injector for your treatment.

Answer: Lip augmentation with fillers Hi, Thanks for your question! According to your pictures and my experience , 1 ml of dermafiller ( Juvederm Volift or Volbella) should be enough to achieve a naturally fuller looking lips. However, according to the results and your expectations, it is is possible to come back after 3 weeks for a possible top-up with another 0.5- 1 ml of filler. My experience in the lip augmentation is always start with 1 ml in order to have always a natural results and not a "overdone" effect and then review after 3 weeks and decide accordingly. My approach is an accurate “static” and “dynamic” facial assessment i.e. lips and a bespoke treatment with a “combined technique with needle and cannula” using a specific dermal filler according to the age, skin tone, and the expectations. There is a ample range of industry class dermal fillers , I always use NON permanent fillers and usually Juvederm Volift or Volbella or Volite (according to the age and results expected) in order to restore the tone and definition of the lips, improve fullness and hydration and finally providing a natural-looking results. I suggest to make a consultation with an experienced aesthetic doctor in facial anatomy i.e. of the lips and proportions, for a detailed assessment in order to consider the right amount of filler and treatment for you. Answer: Lip Augmentation There are surgical and non-surgical approaches to lip augmentation. Non-surgical approaches include botox (slight lift, reducing gum show) and filler (volume restoration). Surgically, you can have two separate incisions under the nose (italian), one incision under the nose (bull horn), one incision at the red/white upper lip junction (gull wing) or two separate incision at the corners, or a combination, depending on your desired look and anatomy. My preferred surgical technique is called the Elelyft, which is a version of the bullhorn approach. In your situation, 1 cc of filler may not be enough to achieve the appearance of the photo you submitted. Please keep in mind for a more permanent solution to lip augmentation, you can consider an upper lip lift. Consult with an experienced lip surgeon for a complete range of options that are appropriate for your situation. Gary Linkov, MD Lip Specialist / RealSelf Lip Lift Medical Reviewer Manhattan

Answer: Lip Fillers -- Juvederm Ultra/Ultra Plus/Volbella/Voluma, Restylane Silk/Lyft, Belotero, Fat Injections, Lip Lift The more filler used the more big the lip, that looks as if there are. more than one cc of filler. I would suggest starting with one, adding more after 2-4. weeks if you want bigger. use hydration and plumping products to maintain the result and give it a more filled look as well (see emeragecosmetics.com lip package).
