10.5 weeks post op breast augmentation - are my results in line with how they should look at this point?

I got a Transaxillary breast augmentation, under the muscle, 365cc high profile, cohesive gel approx. 10.5 weeks ago. I am wondering (I know there is variation but on average) if my results are normal in terms of how much they've dropped & their shape (i.e. if they are natural looking for 10.5 weeks post op). Theyre also still quite firm & I'm wondering when they'll feel more like natural breasts, or will they always be firmer than natural breasts? Also are my scars healing slower than the norm?

Hi there, Thank you for your question. From your photos it appears as though you are healing well. At 10.5 weeks you still have some healing left to do, wait a good 3-6 months to speak with your surgeon regarding your results. Best, realdrsix

Thank you for your question and photos. You appear to be healing nicely. It can take 3-4 months for the swelling to down. Be sure you are following up regularly with your Plastic Surgeon and following your post op instructions for massage. Best of luck to you!

The breasts will likely soften more with time. You have to be patient it can take 4-6 months and sometimes longer.

It appears you are healing appropriately from your procedure.  The breasts will continue to soften over the next few months.  Scars will take several months to fade, but yours appear appropriate for this stage of recovery.  Continue to follow the advice of your surgeon.

Thanks for the question. It looks like you're healing well and your breasts look great. Axillary incisions can take a little longer to heal and may not heal quite as well as breast fold incisions, but it looks like yours are doing fine. From your photographs it appears that both implants are in good position and centered nicely on the nipple. Axillary scars, tend to take a little longer to thin out and become less red than scars at the bottom of the breast. I do see that one breast is slightly larger than the other and I'm assuming that this was the same way preoperatively. Congratulations on your surgery.
