I was told that canthoplasty/canthoplaxy could make you have blurry vision for 2 days, why?

As they do not touch the eye itself I wonder what would cause there to be blurry vision during the healing process? Is this because of the stretching of the eyes and swelling? And is it guarunteed that it will go? is there any risk of vision impairement with this surgery?
