I am curious if either canthoplasty or a canthopexy procedure could increase the length of the eye (palpebral fissure length) in a Caucasian. When I pull the outer edge of my eye laterally, I see conjunctiva, not "more eyeball", so I am curious if a canthoplasty or canthopexy were to be performed, could it increase palpebral fissure length? And if it could be done, how many millimeters of extra palpebral fissure could one expect? And would conjunctiva or eyeball be visible? Thanks!
