Hello I am a 30 year old female who has rather large, round, protruding eyes with significant undereye hollowness. I'm interested in getting a procedure that gives eyes more of a foxeye, or almond shape. What procedures would you recommend to accomplish this result, or am I not a good canidate due to the protrusion of my eyes? Any insight would be appreciated!
I see these terms used seemingly interchangeably so Im not sure what each surgery does or if theyre all basically the same thing I have droopy lower eyelids that I would like straightened and is why Im looking into this
I had a canthopexy after lower bleph that left me with a bit of sclarel show. My left eye is doing fine, but my under eyelid on my right eyes never really stuck on the side like the left one did. I didn't feel any tightness and I told my surgeon about this, and he said it was perfectly acceptable conditions. Now when I blink my under eyelid moves with my upper eyelid. And there is a gap on the corner (where the stitches were made). Is this normal? It has been 2 months.
Over the years, my eyes have lost some of their almond shape and look smaller, almost out of proportion for my face. I had upper blepharoplasty and endotine brow lift as the outer corners of my brows were also slightly droopy. Another procedure: filler in upper eyelid to restore volume. While all those procedure had some positive impact on its own, they did not address my issue: my eyes are small and the outer corner still get hooded when I smile. what surgery can address my concerns?
Im considering an upper and lower bleph plus canthoplasty but nervous about lower lid retraction happening. Is there anything I do can to prevent this post op and is there a time frame post op when you know your in the clear or can this happen at any stage after the procedure?
Hello After lower blepharoplasty and canthopexy, my lower eyelid drooped, my eyes became very dry and there was a very noticeable scar under my left eye. I talked to two doctors, but their opinions on how to solve this problem are different. The first doctor suggested placing a spacer graft and cutting off the scars, and the second one said that this could be solved with skin grafts and canthoplasty. What will actually help me solve the problem?
Hoping to get the cat eye / almond eye surgery next month. I have done my research and canthopexy is what I am having done but I know this is less invasive as canthoplasty. If canthoplexy drops or fails could I get canthoplasty? I know that scar tissue in the eye is very valuable and shouldnt be messed with, but will canthopexy use less scar tissue than canthoplasty?
