Large breast for my frame - Are my breast large or just saggy? (photos)

Based on your photos, you appear to be a great candidate for breast reduction surgery. During breast reduction surgery, excess breast tissue is removed, the breast is lifted and nipple/areola is typically made smaller. It is easiest to think of breast reduction as including the breast lift.

Schnur Sliding Scale is a scale used by many insurance companies as a guideline for how much breast tissue should be removed in order to improve your physical symptoms. In addition, most insurances in order to approve the surgery, will require for 2-3 letters of medical necessity (from your chiropractor, primary doctor, OBGYN, Dermatologist, etc) demonstrating that your physical symptoms due to large breasts are not improving with conservative management.

The goal of breast reduction surgery it to make the breasts smaller and lifted, but also proportionate with the rest of your body.

I suggest that you seek an in person consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon specializing in Breast Reduction surgeries to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

The approach for your breasts would be a breast lift with or without a reduction in volume. The reduction would be your choice and depends on if you want to decrease the volume and lift or just a lift alone. Both options would require a scar around the areola and straight down under the breasts in a lollipop fashion at minimum.

Typically, sagging is when the nipples are located below the breast fold. In your case, that does appear to be the case. A breast lift can reshape your breasts to make them perkier if you are concerned about their appearance.

Thanks for your question! Your breasts are droopy, but that's likely from genetics. Unfortunately, there is no way to make breast tissue firmer. You could always reduce the breasts and then come back to add an implant. That's likely your best bet to feel "firmer". Good luck!

Heavy breasts can lead to sagging, and large breasts and ptosis (sagging) often come hand in hand. If you have shoulder, neck, or back discomfort and would like to reduce the size of your breasts, you would be a candidate for breast reduction. This procedure will reduce the weight of your breasts and lift them as well.

Your breasts are large and saggy. The technique I recommend is a breast lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.

Thank you for your query. You do seem to have larger breasts, although you have not mentioned your cup size. If you wish to have more firm breasts without surgery, ThermiTight is an excellent technique. It can reduce the size of your areolas with a gentle lifting and firming of your breasts.
