Breast reduction surgery in 2019. I initially didn't have pain but now breast and nipple pain when pressed. Why is that?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

You probably had numb areas initially and now your nerves have grown back but through some scar tissue and you have some pain when pressed. Changes in sensation is part of the risks with a reduction. If your breasts have gotten larger, they can be reduced again.

It's difficult to determine what may be occurring without an evaluation and discussion. It would be unusual for pain related to your surgery to begin four years later. I encourage you to visit with your surgeon or breast care specialist to address your concerns. In the meantime you may ask your husband to be more gentle.
