In my opinion there is no better non-surgical way to tighten the skin of the face and neck with a single treatment than Ultherapy. The use of ultrasound enables us to deliver heat energy precisely to the collagen containing layer of the skin while bypassing the more superficial layers. This results in a far less risk of burning, scarring and hyperpigmentation than with lasers. There is some discomfort with the procedure, but its less than with lasers. Everyone has a different tolerance for pain and some find it less uncomfortable than others. Hope this helps.
Hi Drewery,Ulthera is the only device that is approved for lifting and tightening the skin and tissues of the face and neck. We have been treating patients for the past 3 three years with Ulthera with excellent results and very high levels of patient satisfaction. Ultherapy is far superior to any laser treatment in non-invasive lifting rejuvenation. Good luck and be well.Dr. P
There are virtually no head to head studies comparing different types of lasers, radiofrequency such as Thermage, and/or microfocused ultrasound such as Ultherapy. All of them use heat to stimulate collagen remodeling which in turn produces a firming or lifting effect. Ultherapy has the advantage of focusing with precision at several layers under the skin, and is done in one session. Earlier versions of it were more uncomfortable but newer treatments are quite tolerable and results more consistent.
Ultherapy is the only FDA approved technology for non surgical face and neck tightening - it has been time tested and durable and safe and very effective. Read the Ultherapy ebook (link below).
Hi Shannon,Sorry to here about your side effects of Ultherapy. Fortunately with over 300,000 worldwide Ulthera treatments over the past 5 years I have not heard of any permanent complications. The longest that any side effect from Ultherapy has lasted has been about 3 to 4 weeks...
This is not a question that can be answered with one answer. It depends on how much local anesthetic is used and if the tissues are very swollen during the treatment vs. a small amount of anesthetic that doesn't change the thickness (temporarily) of the skin and soft tissues. On the other...
I doubt your symptoms are a result of your Ultherapy treatment. The heat energy from the Ultherapy procedure is not transmitted deep enough to damage the throat or lymph glands. You should make an appointment to see your primary care doctor who can examine you and treat your symptoms accordingly.
Good morning, Yes Ultherapy and Botox can be performed together. In fact they compliment each other. Please visit our website below. I personally perform the treatment and use oral or IM sedation. Using sedation allows me to be more aggressive and achieve better results. Please call for our...
It's a little curious that Botox did not work for you. If you can purposefully raise your brows and lower them, you "should" be able to get some lift from Botox or one of the other neuromodulators Xeomin or Dysport. It is not possible to assess a possible reason without actually seeing your...
You can do ultherapy for the lid area. IT will provide some tightening but it is almost impossible to get rid of the lip lines with any modality. For someone with bad lip lines, we will often do an ulthera treatment first followed by some laser resurfacing. That way you...
