If I constantly wear a headband for a month or more, will my ears naturally go closer to my head? Or is otoplasty the only way?

Newborns may benefit from wearing a headband since their cartilage is pliable. However, the cartilage in an adult’s ears is not so wearing a headband won’t make much of a difference. Therefore, otoplasty is the "only way".

its a good technique that  is sometimes employed in newborns within the first few days of being born. if you wish to pull your ears back then you will have to undergo surgery. its actually not a major surgery. the recovery is very easy. and the scars are always gonna be hidden. they disappear after about 3 months or so. there are some pics of ear pinning surgery on my IG account @drmisbahkhan6 you can get an idea of where the incision is and how quickly it heals

If you are trying to get your ears to stay back on your head permanently by wearing a head band then the answer is, no this won't work. We regularly treat children, newborns, who are born with ear shape deformities. If these infants have contouring compressive dressings applied within the first six weeks of life, I can get the shape of their ears to permanently change to a normal shape.
