I ve been reading reviews and seeing photos of people having FUE and I realized that they all have good donnor area while I dont. Hairs at my donnor area are kind of thin. I wonder should I get FUE or not?
Answer: Thin hair in donor area Based on your photo it appears that you have an advanced pattern of loss-class 6.So the question is are you a candidate for HT? That would depend on several factors including your age ,donor supply, family history and expectations.I would recommend an evaluation with an experienced Hair Restoration surgeon.

Answer: Donor region considerations and FUE The only way to really know what is going on in the donor area as well as the rest of your scalp is to be seen by a hair restoration surgeon and have a miniaturization study. You did not comment on your age however, I suspect you are young and thus should first concentrate on medication to help slow down continued hair loss. Once we have all the info as far as family history along with the physical examination of the scalp we can give you a better idea of where you are heading and come up with a master plan in terms of FUE, quality of donor area and number of grafts needed. Keep in mind beard to scalp is likely an option with thicker single/double hairs. We do a fare amount of beard to scalp but only after the scalp donor region is exhausted.

Answer: Donor area assessment Youir doctor should assess your donor hair both in quantity and quality. Sometimes the donor area is heavily miniaturized and if that is you, a hair transplant is not a good idea
