Answer: Sunlight and shedding after procedure Normally the shedding that occurs after HT only lasts a few weeks or a month or so.It is not unusual to shed 50 or more untransplanted hairs daily under normal circumstances.Rogaine and/or Propecia might reduce or stop shedding. At 3 months sunlight will not damage the grafts however you can suffer a sunburn which is obviously not good for the skin.I suggest wearing a hat and using sunscreen.

Answer: Sun exposure after hair transplant Typically after a hair transplant the shafts of the transplanted hairs will be lost at about 2 to 3 weeks. You did not mention if you are using minoxidil or taking finasteride.to help with shock loss of your remaining native hair within the transplanted region. Shock loss may be what is happening if you are having continued loss of native non-transplanted hair. As for sun exposure, we recommend wearing a hat when outside in direct sunlight especially if you are out longer than a few minutes. Alternatively, you may apply spray sunblock spf 30 every 2 hours to scalp.
