I would like to have my saline implant removed by going through under the breasts not vertically or/and through the nipple. Also my right size has a minor ripple on the side (no hardening), but it was already like that after they first placed them at the beginning. Implants are 18 years old and are under the muscle. Are small incisions underneath the breasts possible vs. the vertical or through the nipple?

Answer: Vertical Lines Thank you for your question. Typically, when removing breast implants a good place for the incision is in the inframammary fold (fold underneath the breast). Doing the incision in this fold allows you to hide the incision quite well. However, if you need a lift with the explanation you would have an incision around the areola, down the middle (vertical), and in the inframammary fold. It is not clear in your photo if you would need a lift, I would consult a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area. Best of Luck!

Answer: Incision can be placed anywhere The incision used to remove breast implants can be placed almost anywhere you want. Most patients and surgeons choose to go through the previous incision/scar so as not to create a new scar.
