Amazing experience! Very personable! I highly recommend! Supportive office staff and wonderfully skilled nurses. The follow up appointments were easily scheduled and the appointment times were always on time.
i had an incredible experience at AirSculpt DC! From start to finish, the entire team made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. Dr. Moshyedi was fantastic--thorough, professional, and truly an expert in his field. He took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel at ease throughout the process. A big shoutout to Hailey and Cristina, who were so supportive and attentive. They walked me through every step and checked in regularly, which made a huge difference. The nursing team deserves special recognition as well; they were not only super attentive and kind but genuinely happy to be there, creating such a positive environment. Plus, they're such a beautiful, friendly group--they really make you feel welcome! If you're considering AirSculpt, I can't recommend the DC team highly enough. I love my results. I feel so confident. I felt cared for every step of the way, and the results speak for themselves. Thank you to everyone at AirSculpt DC for making this experience so wonderful! This highlights the team's attentiveness and friendly atmosphere while emphasizing your positive experience.
I am absolutely thrilled with the results of my recent surgery. From the moment I emerged from the operating room, the transformation in my problem area was immediately noticeable. As the swelling subsided, I eagerly tried on my wardrobe, and to my delight, everything draped more loosely around my waist and hip bones. For as long as I can remember, my love handles have been a persistent trouble spot, resistant to even the most dedicated exercise and diet efforts. The overwhelming joy I felt when I saw the tangible difference in the mirror moved me to tears – the area I had struggled with for so long was no longer a source of concern. These results have not only given me a newfound confidence, but have also allowed me to comfortably wear clothing that I previously hesitated to. The investment in this procedure was unquestionably worth it, and I am grateful for the positive impact it has had on my life.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve been reading reviews obsessively. I’m going to share my experience and all the things that I couldn’t find answered. First off, this surgery does not hurt one single bit! I had my procedure about 10 hours ago and feel wonderful. Also, the procedure itself did not hurt at all! I’ve read other people saying the numbing solution burns, it did not. I read that people say the actual lipo “tickled” almost unbearably- it did not. I couldn’t even feel it honestly. I couldn’t feel the vibration or suction. There was no pressure or sensation at all. I had the the tiny tuck done and couldn’t feel that happening either. The doctor asked me if I’d like to see the skin that was cut off and I said “no thanks”, but I felt nothing being cut off or stitched up. I am able to stand up completely straight on my own. No hunching over or anything. The only discomfort, if you’d even call it that, and that my thighs feel a little itchy right now. Comparable to having a bug bite that you aren’t able to scratch. I haven’t taken any of the pain meds and feel great. I’ll let you know how tomorrow it goes but for right now- I give the doctor, nurses, and this experience rave reviews. If you’re scared or nervous… don’t be! This is so, so, so easy and painless. Updated on 25 Dec 2023: I am still amazed at how easy this recovery has been. Sleeping in the faja has not been awful, although I do wake up with a bit of back pain because of the swelling. Nothing that a nice, warm shower doesn’t cure. I’ve been up today (Christmas Day), unwrapping gifts, cleaning up, cooking, etc. I expected to be a bump on a log today but have been feeling great. Still very happy with my results! Updated on 4 Feb 2024: I am at my 6 week post-surgery and attaching a picture of the scar so you all can see how big it is. I am still feeling great! No pain at all! I am also still so happy with my results and it just gets better every week. I started using silicone scar strips this week too so I know that’ll help smooth and fade the scarring. You can’t even see the little lipo dots.
These reviews were super helpful to me in debating whether to get the procedure so paying it forward here. I got my full abdomen, flanks, and back bra foll done. I'm on day 3 of my recovery so I'll update this periodically. Pre-Op - the only negatives I have with the DC Elite location are that I couldn't get a nurse to return my calls prior to call in my perscriptions until the day of my procedure. I was scheduled for noon and they called at 9:30 finally so I couldn't get the meds until after my procedure which was annoying. Also they didn't have any Large size recovery garments, and I was between M/L and had to size down because of this. It ended up being fine, but Elite should have every size of garments ready for patients - I've read a lot of reviews of people having garments too loose or too tight and I was pretty concerned mine would be off. Luckily, the Medium was fine. During - I got Xanax and Dilaudid to relax me before the procedure. I had eaten prior to my appointment but that was around 10, by the time I actually was on the table it was 1 pm and I got incredibly naseous and sweaty dispite the Zofran I was given. The nurses brought me crackers and water and the feeling passed, and then we started. I truly felt no pain during this process and was pretty out of it, I barely remember it or the ride back to my house. It's definitely an odd sensation during the procedure but felt akin to someone taking a light suction cup over the top of your skin. Day 0 and 1- I was prescribed Oxycoton as well as Zofran and the antibiotics so for the first 24 hours I was mostly sleeping and out of it. The night of my procedure I felts mildly sore, but that feeling increased over the course of the next day. I still felt a level of soreness like after a hard workout, it was not unbearable. The morning after my procedure I took a 30 minute walk with no issue. I continued to drain throughout the day. Day 2 - I got to shower and change my garment; I definitely can tell my body is still swollen. From the front I can see an improved shape to my waist, but from the side I'm still very very swollen and I can tell touching my stomach there's fluid in my skin. It feels different than anything I've ever felt before, made more extreme by the fact that you're still pretty numb so you're kind of detached from your body as you touch it. My public area was deeply bruised and I did have some parts of my stomach that were more bruised or lumpy than others, everything was very tender to the touch. I'm still draining through the incisions today and have been trying to walk and keep moving to assist with the drainage. Right now I'm just taking Tylenol to help with the swelling because the pain is not really an issue for me thankfully. Hoping that the swelling continues to go down, I have a lymphatic massage scheduled for 2 days from now which should help as well! Overall I'm pretty happy right now, I felt like the procedure was as advertised and I'm optomistic about the results so I'll keep posting. Updated on 13 Sep 2023: I definitiely experienced some increased soreness days 3-5, but swelling went down each day. I got a lymphatic massage on day 4 and another a week later, which I think helped my overall soreness. By the end of one week I felt pretty back to normal with the exception of discomfort from bruising on my hips and from the faja. The hips are the only area still bruised, so they're very sensisitve, and the area just under my ribcage is very sore. I feel like the faja is really digging in to this area so by the end of the day I'm in discomfort bordering on pain from that. I still don't have feeling in some spots of my abdomen and upper back, which you don't notice until you have the faja off and shower. It's fine, just weird. Almost at the end of week two now; I continue wearing the Marena faja Elite gave me but also have a Sonryse one I ordered. My nurse at the one week checkup said I can ditch foams, but I've been using them to assist with discomfort on my ribcage. I might stop wearing the faja at the end of week 2 and just wear spanx instead - I have full bodysuits from them that I think will give compression without the rib pain. At night I'll still wear the faja and see how that works. Hoping swelling continues to improve after week 2? Doctor said this is peak swelling time so trying to be patient, I still feel like I am swollen on my lower back, hips, and lower abdomen but these are also the areas where lymphatic fluid has the furthest to travel to be processed by the lymph nodes so in my head it makes sense they're the last to stop swelling. Using arnica gel and pills as well.
I am one day out and feeling pretty good. I don't have pictures yet because I have to wear my garment for 48 hours. I researched this procedure for a long time. Exercises and CoolSculpting didn't work for me. After 45, your body fat takes on a stubborn mind of its own. So I went for it. I was incredibly nervous about the procedure. But once they gave me the demerol (Honestly, that was the most painful part- but its two seconds) and oral pain medication- I was fine. I zoned out to my music. The first part is when the dr fills you up with fluid and lidocaine. I didn't know if he was doing the surgery or what- I was out of it and didn't care at that point. I could feel the sensation of something moving under my skin, but it wasn't painful and I just stayed in my med zone and relaxed. Then you have to lay there for about 15 minutes for the lidocaine and fluid to sit while the nurse is with you. All was well. The nurse I had was very friendly and kept everything calm. Dr comes back and begins the suction part of the surgery. You have to turn this way and that way- but again, I was so zoned- I didn't care and didn't feel a thing. Even though I was awake, I wasn't really in the mood to chat-- so some parts were quiet- which was nice. I didn't believe the no pain claim that I saw on their site.I blocked a whole week off of work. I had Lipo 20 years ago on my outer thighs. The weeks after hurt more than childbirth. But it did work well and lasted a long time, so I figure I would give this a shot. Might as well at this point. So I put it in my mind that it was going to be painful, but I would get through it. However, I am totally surprised that I am not in excruciating pain. I don't know if the lidocaine hasn't worn off or what, but I am only taking the Tylenol 800mg. I am really sad I didn't do my legs because I thought the pain would be intolerable. I am leaking from the incisions, a lot. That is a good thing! More of that fluid out --means less swelling staying in. Be prepared for that on the drive home, in bed, clothes you wear at home and around for the next few days. It's flowing out of all of the incisions. I am very swollen, but see my waist is a bit smaller. I'll post pictures when I remove my garment to shower. ( Hope this helps the community here. I''m sharing my experience bc other's sharing have helped me.)
Client profile: I've been fit and healthy( within 10lbs of my goal look) for the last 10 years but I know me and I was not going to eat well enough in order to have the abs that I want. Set and Setting: I found out about air sculpt, had the in-person consult on January 3rd, and had the procedure done on January 10th. This seemed very quick at I have never had any other surgery done in my life and that includes fillers or Botox lasers or anything. However, I felt comfortable and had done enough research on this to move forward. Surgery: ? The Surgery, though not painful, was uncomfortable. I was not on my phone or talking to anyone as they show in the commercial. Instead, I was sucking away on the laughing gas to get as close to a dream-like state as possible because my tolerance for any pain or discomfort is around 4/10 (David Goggins would not be impressed). Dr. Moyshedi was professional and efficient before and during surgery. The two nurses I had on the day of the surgery felt like my guardian angels - I could hear them throughout the process saying encouraging words to me and how much I was going to love it which, though I was loopy on Xanax and laughing gas( these are the meds that are provided to you for the surgery), felt comforting. Recovery: I don't remember leaving the office, being driven home, or any of that. I do remember taking one 800mg dose of ibuprofen when I arrived home and that is the ONLY TIME throughout this whole healing process I've felt any pain whatsoever. Moving around and sleeping for the first 3 days was uncomfortable but I am SO impressed that there has not been any pain in the recovery portion of this. Updated on 26 Jan 2022: My stomach is looking flat and I feel fantastic. I am starting to take the foam piece out when I go out for events, dinners, etc but I can see a small amount of rippling or "texture" on my stomach so I wear the foam whenever I am at home and sleeping. I will likely do this for a few more weeks just to be safe. There is still some swelling at the base of my stomach where the V cut is which I imagine will dissipate over time. I've started my morning vitamins and fish oil routine again and am still VERY happy to have done this procedure.
This was a very positive experience, and I will return if if I ever need or want anything else done. My results exceeded my expextations and the entire process from start to finish was easier than I expected.
I'm very satisfied with my results. It was tough going after surgery but the final results are coming in just right. I just went shopping and feel so good about wearing cute and sexy clothes again. Would recommend.
Breast augmentation 375cc under muscle gel and liposuction. Price was about average. Doc had pleasant bedside manner. Made multiple visits and emails before deciding on what to do and doc was patient and put up with me.
100cc increase is enough to make a noticeable difference. The new implants will not project (stick out as much), but they will fill out your upper breast better. Increasing size usually gives a more unnatural appearance, however, dropping down to lower profile will mitigate that and maybe look even more natural.
You potentially have an infection which requires antibiotics and possibly removal of the implant. The longer you wait, the more difficult it may be to solve the problem with only antibiotics.
Your scheduled surgery a completely elective operation. Smoking 11 days before surgery increase your risks of devastating complications. While those risks are still low, I recommend you reschedule. You are spending a lot of hard earned money, taking time off from work/family/friends, and going through some pain and discomfort - why not do everything you can to make the result as perfect as possible?
Beast augmentation and breast implants are the same thing. Stop smoking now. The longer time you take off smoking before surgery the more you decrease your risk of complications due to the smoking. Most surgeons ask patients to quit smoking anywhere between 2 weeks and 2 months before surgery. The longer the better.
If you were my patient I would ask you not to take any supplements at least 7 days before surgery until you have healed and recovered. There is no evidence serrapeptase prevents capsular contracture "internal scarring). There is also no evidence of what the side effects may be. So don't take chances. Have your surgery, recover and heal, and then you can take any supplement you choose. Until then, trust that your surgeon is doing everything possible to prevent capsular contracture.
