The examples I posted are a bit too extreme but I just wanted to post extremes. Hooded eyes are a very aesthetic masculine trait. Can eyes with the upper eyelid showing be made any more hooded? Thank you!

Answer: Making handsome masculine upper lids. The point you are making is that some males have ruggedly handsome masculine eyes and some don’t. Then, can something be done to improve the look.Let's look at the characteristics that make masculine eyes attractive. The first thing is the frame around the eyes, the eyebrows. Male eyebrows are low compared to female eyebrows and go almost straight across, without a feminine arch. This is seen in the first 2 pictures. When the brows are low they contribute to the lid being full (hooded) without a hollow. This is the opposite of the overdone eye surgery look, described by some as ‘dolls eyes’. Dolls eyes have a rounded hollowness between the lashes and the high arched brows, without the fullness of a lid fold. There is also a condition that affects the upper lids, called lid ptosis, in which the lid naturally rests at a lower than usual position on the eyeball (the globe). You can see this in the 4th photo. Normally the lid crosses over the eyeball several millimetres above the pupil, near the top of the iris, the coloured ring of the eye. The body automatically compensates in people who have ptosis of the lid, by raising the brow and having raised eyebrows takes away the pleasing masculine look. When the ptosis is surgically corrected the brows again relax and the upper lid becomes fuller. Men who do not have full lids and wish to have them created, and who do not have ptosis, can definitely have this upper lid look. Fullness is obtained by recontouring the lid crease and fold and then adding some volume above the crease, as is needed. The volume uses injections of your own fat for a permanent improvement, or a temporary improvement using fillers. To obtain the most sophisticated result, that is fullness without looking dull, internal surgery of the lid (called tarsal fixation blepharoplasty) is required to fix the lid crease precisely and permanently. This enables a permanent, male eyelid transformation with a high degree of predictability that is not detectably the result of surgery.
